Biondi – Genaux

Recognised for her vocal prowess and her lively and intense characterisations, for this concert the sublime Vivica Génaux brilliantly portrays the great roles of Vivaldi. She is partnered here by Fabio Biondi and his ensemble, with whom she has sung this programme in Krakow, Naples, Turin and Strasbourg. The virtuosic conductor, one of the most passionate exponents of the baroque violin, revolutionises Vivaldi, as those who were present at the sumptuous 2009 concert of the Four Seasons will no doubt remember.
