What is special about Ambronay's training courses?

Ambronay offers original training programmes delivered by specialists, the discovery and performance of unknown repertoire, and the bringing together of diverse art forms.

In addition to cross-disciplinary perspectives on the baroque repertoire, we will address the issue of theatrical performance for singers, and this year we are also offering a discovery day based on the performance of traditional eastern music.

• 3 - 6 July 2008: Workshop for the actor-singer, with Pierre Kuentz and Philippe Sire.
  
  
• 15 - 20 July 2008: Venetian opera and commedia dell'arte, with Jérôme Correas.
  
  
• 21 - 26 July 2008: The composer students of Francesco Cavalli (Barbara Strozzi, Antonia Bembo and Isabella Leonarda), with Leonardo Garcia Alarcon.
