Young Professionals
This aspect of our work is aimed at young musicians or actors, professionals or conservatoire students, wishing to complete their training through contact with renowned artists.
Courses are also organised, mainly supervised by our artists in residence (Pierre Kuentz and Leonardo García Alarcón). They take place at Ambronay over a period of a week to ten days. This year, student actors from the Lyon Conservatoire have worked on extracts from Dante's Divine Comedy under the direction of Pierre Kuentz. A student from the electro-acoustics course has furthermore composed music for the final performance.
Young musicians from the Conservatoires of Basel, The Hague, Geneva, Lyon and Paris will be welcomed during July 2010 to work with Leonardo García Alarcón, Johannette Zomer, Andrea de Carlo and Fabian Schofrin. They will study the cantatas of Bach.
For the same audience, we organise masterclasses during the Festival. In 2010, students from the Lyon Conservatoire and the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva will benefit from masterclasses given by Skip Sempé (harpsichord) and Hopkinson Smith (lute).

Le stage de l'été 2011 " la Sicile, monde de toutes les musiques " avec Leonardo García Alarcón s'est déroulé à Ambronay du 21 au 27 juillet.
