Katarina Livljanic

In 2006 Katarina Livljanic produced Judith, based on the eponymous masterpiece of Croatian poetry, and the musical monodrama won the 2007 prize for best musical performance at the Split Festival in Croatia. Her new project, Dalmatica, in collaboration with a group of traditional Croatian singers, was premiered at the 2008 Ambronay Festival. The programme brings together two traditions; that of traditional Croatian song and of classical medieval music, and was performed in October 2008 at the Royal Monastery of Brou.

The release of their next disc for Ambronay Editions, Abbo Abbas, is scheduled for 2009.
