Thanks to this approach, participating students will better grasp the repertory and the partition. With Marie-Geneviève Massé, Sébastien Marq and Howard Crock, they will work on the Fêtes Vénitiennes by Campra, a rich but little-performed piece, which combines instrumental and vocal sections
Main study topics
While concentrating on a particular
repertory, the aim of this programme is to propose an initiation to
body movement and choreography, both for vocalists and instrumentalists.- What are the interactions between music and dance, the correspondences between pliés/levés and rhythm and measure?
- How does one express a gavotte, a saraband? How can one best find and mark the strong points?
- During individual lessons, the accent will be placed on technique and interpretation.
