Leonardo Garcia Alarcon
Leonardo Garcia Alarcon studied the harpsichord and organ in Argentina and in Geneva. Assistant to Gabriel Garrido for several years, he went on to found the ensemble Cappella Mediterranea, with whom he has performed at many festivals. He teaches at the Geneva Conservatoire, carries out research into bass continuo playing in the seventeenth century and has a passion for vocal music.
Fabian Schofrin
The countertenor Fabian Schofrin studied in Argentina and then at Bâle and Geneva. He works regularly with William Christie, Gabriel Garrido, Rinaldo Alessandrini and Françoise Lasserre. He is often invited to perform at the Ambronay Festival.
Monica Pustilnik
Born in Argentina, Monica Pustilnik studied the lute, guitar and theorbo in Buenos Aires and in Bâle. She regularly performs with Gabriel Garrido, William Christie, Hervé Niquet and Emmanuelle Haïm. Since 2002, she has taught bass continuo and lute in Barcelona.
Andrea De Carlo
Born in Rome, Andrea De Carlo began his career as a jazz double bass player, before switching his allegiance to early music and the viola da gamba, which he studied with Paolo Pandolfo. He has since worked for many years with Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and teaches at the Institut de Haute Formation in l'Aquila.
